Stay Healthy and Save Money

One of the best ways to save money is to become Healthy.  How does this save money?  If you are healthy, you don’t have the medicines, the doctor appointments, the missed time from work, the higher insurance rates, etc.  So why not get healthy?

So here is a list of things you can do to get/stay healthy and save money:

  1. Quit smoking
  2. Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep
  3. Eat Breakfast
  4. Get physical
  5. Know your weight

Other tips:

  1. Take Vitamin E.  This has been found to help with your heart and helps keep that bad cholesterol from becoming worse.
  2. Drink plenty of water.  It curbs appetite, is a natural laxative, reduces wrinkles and much more.
  3. Get to know your Flavonoids.  Examples:  The skin on a grape can help reduce blood cholesterol because the skin has flavonoids.  Onions have flavonoids and they can help with gum disease.  Certain berries will help prevent vision loss because of their flavonoids.
  4. Eat that fiber.  Water-soluble fiber, things like oat bran, can reduce heart disease.  Soluble fiber works like duck tape when it goes through your intestinal tract.  It sticks to and removes things that can cause high cholesterol.  Insoluble fiber, fiber you get from grains, fruits & vegetables, keeps you regular which can reduce cancer.

So Pinch Your Pennies by getting healthy.  Put your money towards trips, vacations with your family…don’t give your money to your doctor so he can take the trips and family vacations…
